Tuesday, October 29, 2013 - Sparrow Lab Phlebotomist shares her story with fellow Caregivers as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Sparrow Outreach Laboratory raises money every year in support of breast cancer awareness. This year, however, it really hit home when Carol Brace, a Sparrow Laboratory phlebotomist since 1997, was diagnosed in June. A wife and mother of five, Carol found the lump herself.

At a recent Outreach Lab meeting celebrating breast cancer awareness month, Carol shared her experience with fellow Caregivers and encouraged them (and their loved ones) to get yearly mammograms.
