Nearly 100 people - including breast cancer survivors, supporters and women who wanted more information - attended last night's public forum featuring experts from Sparrow and the Mayo Clinic.

Sandhya Pruthi, M.D. from the Mayo Clinic and Sparrow Multidisciplinary Breast Cancer Clinic Physicians Karen Ching, M.D., Timothy McKenna, D.O. and Vesna Kaluza, M.D. presented and answered audience questions during the event.

The Physicians said there is not a "one-size fits all" approach to screening for and treating breast cancer, and women should work with their doctor to determine what's best for them based off their family history and personal risk factors.
