Tracy Bellefeuil, RN, a clinical trials research nurse at Sparrow Herbert-Herman Cancer Center in Lansing, goes above and beyond to help her patients understand their treatment options and make sure they get the care they need.
“I’m kind of a navigator for the patient through the whole process of their treatment, even into the follow up,” says Tracy.
Whether it’s making an extra phone call to help alleviate a patient’s anxiety, arranging transportation, or coordinating appointments with oncology teams or other Sparrow practices, Tracy does what it takes to make sure her patients get the treatment they need.
“My philosophy is this could be me; this could be my family member.”
