The Carson Foundation will host its annual Sparrow Carson Hospital Golf Outing on Friday, July 29, at Huckleberry Golf Course in Pewamo.

Cost to register is $200 per team, or $50 per person, and includes 18 holes of golf with a cart, continental breakfast, and lunch.

The four-person scramble will kick off with registration at 7:30 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. There will be special items at the event for auction with all proceeds benefitting local health and wellness programs.

An awards and recognition luncheon will be held in the clubhouse for all participants immediately following tournament play. Cash prizes for first place in all men, women and mixed team divisions will be presented, as well as prizes for categories like longest drive, closest to the pin and longest putt.

“We are looking forward to a fun day filled with community members showing their support for a local cause. It’s events like these that help us raise money in order to provide equipment such as AED’s for local schools, safety equipment for children, and physical therapy exercise equipment,” said Carson Foundation Executive Director Shelly Weaver.
