Dawn Hardin of Lansing felt discomfort in her breast and couldn’t sleep. Needing answers, she went to the highly skilled physicians at the Sparrow Herbert-Herman Cancer Center, where a 3D mammogram detected a tumor in her breast. In November 2019, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. An earlier mammogram from another local health system had said she was clear.
