Sparrow and the MSU College of Nursing have been collaborating for roughly three years to mentor and train MSU nursing students on how to provide compassionate clinical care in real time.
Sparrow’s Dedicated Education Unit (DEU) recently kicked off its fifth session, celebrating the newest students and nurses involved.
This mentoring program improves student learning, builds clinical teaching capacity, and encourages students to seek employment in institutions providing such a learning experience, like Sparrow.
