LANSING, Mich. - Sparrow rehabilitation therapists call it a "Winter Wonderland." But to young Patients at Sparrow, it's nothing short of magical.

The Dykema Toy Room in Sparrow's Pediatric Rehab office is filled with donated dolls, games, toys, and more from employees of the Dykema Gossett law firm in Lansing. And it's all waiting for kids once they finish their therapy.

"We have more than 230 toys available for our Patients," said Nesha Hill, Department Manager for Pediatric Rehab at Sparrow. "The response from the kids and their families has been overwhelming. We've even seen a few tears of joy."

Each Patient is allowed to select a toy from the toy room after his or her appointment. It's a way to lift Patients' spirits during the holiday season.

"Both the Dykema and Sparrow staffs have done a terrific job in setting up the Toy Room and making it very special for the children in Pediatric Rehabilitation," said William Perrone, Dykema Gossett Lansing Office Managing Member. "We take great pride in being part of the Sparrow community in Lansing and are especially proud to provide joy to the children in this holiday season."

The program kicked off this week and lasts until all the toys are given away.

As a national law firm that serves business entities worldwide on a wide range of complex legal issues, Dykema takes special pride in serving the communities in which it lives and works.
