Patrons filled up on free buttermilk pancakes to support children’s health at the East Lansing IHOP on National Pancake Day, Tuesday, March 3.
The annual event raises money and awareness for the Sparrow Children’s Center, a Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. Guests were invited to make a donation for every short stack of pancakes served from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. The East Lansing IHOP is located at 2771 E. Grand River Avenue.
Sparrow’s 2015 Miracle Child Garret McGowan, Tim Raghib, M.D., Medical Director of Sparrow Medical Group Pediatric Practices and Sparrow’s Pediatric Hospitalist Service, and Kathy Marble, MSN, RNC-NIC, Director of Women and Children’s Services at Sparrow, were on hand to help flip pancakes and answer questions from the media.
