This fantastic, talented, kindhearted group of boys embraced the reason for the season and chose to donate toys to the young patients at Sparrow's Children's Center, helping to brighten their days.
The Belle Tire Downriver Warriors 8U hockey team came to Suburban Ice East Lansing for a tournament with the toys in tow, and helped us make Brave Little Warrior Garrett McGowan's day pretty special! Garrett was Sparrow's 2015 Miracle Child and was accompanied by his mom, Heidi McGowan, and brother Gavin.
The boys presented Garrett - whose favorite sport is hockey - with lots of hockey goodies and a special visit from the Red Wings own Kirk Maltby!
