More than 250 breast cancer survivors, family and friends attended the third annual Breastival celebration this month.
The event, hosted by the Women’s Information Network and Support (WINS), celebrates breast health and survivorship and provides tools to help Patients during recovery.
The expo-like event featured 25 tables of people who volunteered their time and service, including Sparrow Physicians. Attendees visited information booths, played games and were treated to chair massages and reflexology treatments.
“It was a big success and definitely an event we will continue to offer every year,” said Sparrow Cancer Center Breast Care Navigator Sharon Cosgrove, BBA, RN, OCN. “The Patients love it.”
