Lorie Thaler, RN, a nurse at SMG Family Residency Mason, goes above and beyond to put the well-being of her patients first – including calling 911 and requesting a welfare check on an ill patient who failed to show up for an appointment.
“As a nurse, patient care is one of my big things,” says Lorie.
When one of her patients who recently tested positive for COVID didn’t show up for a video visit, Lorie became concerned and took the time to track her down and get her the care she needed.
