Sparrow Outreach Laboratory raises money every year in support of breast cancer awareness. This year, however, it really hit home when Carol Brace, a Sparrow Laboratory phlebotomist since 1997, was diagnosed in June. A wife and mother of five, Carol found the lump herself.

At a recent Outreach Lab meeting celebrating breast cancer awareness month, Carol shared her experience with fellow Caregivers and encouraged them (and their loved ones) to get yearly mammograms.
