Physicians head international Arts/Sciences Conference

Sparrow Cancer Center’s Medical Oncologist and Director of Clinical Trials, Gordan Srkalovic, M.D., PhD, recently hosted the 6th Annual Bosnian-Herzegovinian American Academy of Arts and Sciences Conference in the city of Bihac in Bosnia.

Dr. Srkalovic was elected President of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian American Academy of Arts and Sciences in 2013. BHAAAS a growing organization of presently 250 physicians, academicians, researchers, financial specialists and artists with connections to Bosnia, his native country.

The program brought together more than 1,500 participants and featured 300 presenters. One of the keynote speakers was Dr. Srkalovic’s long-time Sparrow colleague and friend, James Herman, M.D., Sparrow Cancer Center Medical Director, who has served as a Sparrow Radiation Oncologist for over 30 years.
