Ronald McDonald House, McDonald’s deliver donation to Sparrow Children’s Center caregivers

What: Ronald McDonald House of Mid-Michigan is partnering with Michigan McDonald’s restaurants to support caregivers at the Sparrow Children’s Center by dropping off dozens of beverage sleeves (with cups), bottled water (donated by Martin-Brower in St. Johns) and beverages (donated by Coca-Cola). This event is tied to McDonald’s “Sleeves for Support” campaign, a fundraiser for Ronald McDonald House Charities in which customers can purchase an insulated beverage sleeve for $5. Sparrow Children’s Center leaders and nurses will be present to accept this kind donation. Ronald McDonald Houses across Michigan help families with ill or injured children stay together with home-cooked meals, private bedrooms, fully equipped kitchens and laundry facilities near the medical care they need at leading hospitals. Interviews available with Sparrow, Ronald McDonald House, and McDonald’s officials, plus b-roll of dropoff to Sparrow Children’s Center caregivers. Where: Parking Ramp D of Sparrow Hospital, 1215 E.
