Sparrow and Lansing Latino Health Alliance announce Latino Caregiver Award winner

What: The Outstanding Latino Caregiver Award is given annually by local hospitals in conjunction with the Lansing Latino Health Alliance as a way to publicly recognize individual Latino caregivers for the significant difference they make in patients’ lives and to encourage Latinos to consider careers in healthcare. Now more than ever, it’s important that we promote diversity and inclusion and prove our commitment to the entire community. Sparrow and the Health Alliance will honor Sparrow’s 2019 recipient, Amarily Mendez, a Nurse at Sparrow Clinton Hospital’s Emergency Department, during a brief ceremony. The ceremony will include remarks by Amarily and Sparrow and Health Alliance leaders. Interviews available with award winner and Sparrow and Health Alliance leaders.
