Sparrow today broke ground on the Sparrow Health Center Lansing, an all-new campus that will expand access to primary care, provide senior health services, and offer streamlined and comprehensive care in one convenient location.
The new Sparrow Health Center Lansing will be located on the grounds of the former Medical-Dental building at 2909 E. Grand River Avenue, just west of US-127 in Lansing Township.
The 70,000-square-foot building will house a drive-thru Pharmacy, Laboratory, Endoscopy, Diagnostic Imaging including CT, Ultrasound, Mammography, MRI and more in addition to three Sparrow Medical Group practices.
At Sparrow, a major part of our efforts to transform care involves reconfiguring our facilities to meet the expectations of our Patients and their families for quality care in a healing environment. By combining a range of services into one facility our Patients can see their physician and get follow-up care such as Radiology or prescriptions, all in one visit to one location. This not only improves the Patient experience, but also helps to ensure easy access to necessary follow-up care, ensuring a better health outcome.
Preliminary site preparation is underway and the Sparrow Health Center Lansing is expected to be complete in 2017.
