Carson City, MI – Sparrow Carson Hospital is pleased to announce the addition of Sparrow Medical Group Urology, a new specialty practice responding to increased demand in our area.
The practice is scheduled to open on Tuesday, July 9, and will be located at 245 S. Second Street inside the hospital. It is led by Jamie M. Bartley, D.O., FACOS; Richard C. Bennett, M.D.; and Richard C. Sarle, M.D., M.S. SMG Urology speaks to Sparrow Carson’s mission to provide quality, compassionate care to everyone, every time. To achieve that goal, we must ensure Patients throughout our local area have access to the best care close to home.
The development of the practice has been a high priority for Sparrow Carson as demand for urologic care is increasing. Current and forecasted need, now and for the next 20 years, will rapidly outpace the existing capacity of urologic providers in the region.
With nearly 30 years of combined experience, Drs. Bartley, Bennett, and Sarle are fellowship-trained in their subspecialties of female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery, male infertility, microsurgery, andrology, and erectile dysfunction, and robotic and laparoscopic urologic oncology, respectively.
In addition, they have combined to perform thousands of robotic and other minimally invasive surgeries and provide broad care in general urology issues. All of these skills will create a uniquely comprehensive urology practice at Sparrow Carson.
