(Lansing, Mich.) – Michigan Healthcare Volunteer Resource Professionals (MHVRP) is pleased to announce the election of Shelly Weaver as the President to its state board of directors.
Shelly is the Manager of Strategic Partnerships and Development at Sparrow Carson Hospital in Carson City, MI and will serve on the MHVRP board for the 2016 - 2017 year. She has been a member for 7 years has previously served as the Newsletter Chair and President Elect (2014- 2015).
MHVRP has a reputation as an assertive, professional and progressive council with strong leadership, dedicated board members and involved, caring members who represent the total healthcare volunteer community. MHVRP chartered in 1972, is a non-profit corporation with the purpose of promoting the professional development of the membership and advancing the quality of volunteer services management in the healthcare institutions in the state of Michigan.
