A Sparrow Patient is close to winning an online contest that would bring $15,000 to the Sparrow Children's Center, a Children's Miracle Network Hospital - and voting ends this week!

The national tissue box design contest is sponsored by White Cloud®, a paper products company. Patients from Children's Miracle Network hospitals across the country submitted tissue box designs for the contest, and Sparrow Patient Rylee, age 12, was selected as one of 14 semi-finalists.

Participants can vote hourly on Facebook for the design of their choice, and the winners will be announced in June. The top three vote-getters will win $15,000 for their local Children's Miracle Network Hospital and their tissue box design will be available in select Walmart stores.

As of Monday morning, Rylee was one of the top three vote-getters.

If Rylee wins for Sparrow, the funds will be used to continue life-saving treatments for children in our state-of-the-art facility and to recruit the all-star specialists that make it happen. Funds will also support the ongoing advancements of technology and equipment within the Sparrow Children's Center and the Granger Pediatric Emergency Department.
