Sparrow Clinton earns national recognition for Patient safety

ST. JOHNS, MI – Sparrow Clinton Hospital has earned high marks for Patient safety from a national study that places it among the top 10 percent of hospitals in the country.

Sparrow Clinton is one of only 13 Michigan hospitals to earn the 2017 Patient Safety Excellence Award from Healthgrades, a leading online resource for health information. The award highlights outstanding healthcare facilities and systems. The 460 hospitals recognized nationwide showed lower rates of hospital complications, preventable infections or other deadly medical errors.

Based on data from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, Healthgrades reviews performance scores for 13 Patient safety indicators.
