Sparrow Clinton CEO on list of top critical access leaders

Ed Bruun, Sparrow Clinton Hospital President and CEO, has been named as one of the 50 Critical Access Hospital CEOs to Know in a new national publication.

Bruun, who has served as President of Sparrow Clinton since 1994, is among a select group of hospital leaders from throughout the country featured on the Becker’s Hospital Review list. Bruun was recognized for helping Sparrow Clinton to be honored nationally for quality and safe care and Patient satisfaction.

“This is recognition for all the dedicated Caregivers at Sparrow Clinton Hospital, not just for one individual,” Bruun said. “It is an honor for me to work with such a great team, providing the highest quality of care to the communities we serve.”

A critical access hospital, like Sparrow Clinton, has no more than 25 inpatient beds, is generally in a rural area, and offers 24/7 emergency care, among other requirements.
