Sparrow debuts Woodlands of DeWitt senior living community

Published: Aug. 25, 2020

What: For the first time, Sparrow has partnered on a new senior living community in DeWitt, the Woodlands of DeWitt. The development addresses a huge need among the growing seniors population, is important for the DeWitt area’s growth, and represents Sparrow’s Population Health approach, in which area residents’ health needs are met throughout their entire lives and outside the traditional walls of a hospital or clinic. Woodlands of DeWitt includes dozens of assisted/independent/and memory care units, and Sparrow will provide a spectrum of services, from primary care to home care to laboratory services to a retail pharmacy. We’re holding a kickoff ceremony attended by Woodlands of DeWitt residents, leaders from Sparrow, Wirt-Rivette development group, and others. Interviews available with Sparrow and development leaders, along with b-roll of a unit and exteriors.

Where: Woodlands of DeWitt, 910 Woodlands Drive, DeWitt.

When: Thursday, Aug. 27. Ceremony starts at 11:30 a.m.

Additional information: Any reporter or media wishing to attend the event should contact John Foren, Spokesperson, Media and Public Relations, at 517.364.8093 or 517.256.1743.
