Sparrow Eaton and AL!VE host Heart Month screening, presentation Thursday

What: Sparrow Eaton Hospital and AL!VE will host a major Heart Month event that features free screenings for cholesterol and blood pressure, lunch, and a presentation from a Sparrow TCI cardiologist and a representative from the Pritikin Intensive Cardiac Rehab program. The program will showcase Sparrow Eaton as the only Intensive Cardiac Rehab program in Mid-Michigan and discuss the benefits of Pritikin. The presentation will address both medical care and lifestyle changes that can be used to manage or reverse the effects of cardiovascular disease. Interviews available with Sparrow cardiac leaders and participants.

Where: AL!VE, 800 West Lawrence Avenue, Charlotte. A Sparrow Marketing Department representative will meet you in the lobby.

When: Thursday, Feb. 13. Screenings held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., and heart health presentation starts at noon.
