CHARLOTTE, MI – Sparrow Eaton Hospital has opened a new practice, Sparrow Medical Group Oncology Charlotte, to bolster leading-edge cancer care in the community.
The practice, 111 Lansing St., Suite 220, Charlotte, is open Wednesdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. To speak with one of our dedicated staff members, please call 517.543.9564.
“We are responding to the local need for greater access to oncology services, close to home,” said Helen Johnson, Sparrow Eaton President. “Sparrow Eaton is delighted to introduce Heidi Egloff, M.D., as the highly skilled physician who will provide care at SMG Oncology Charlotte.”

Dr. Egloff will provide consultations for diagnosing, treating and prevention of cancer. Her joining the team affords the Charlotte-area community a direct connection to coordination of care and greater collaboration with the team of specialists at Sparrow’s world-class Herbert-Herman Cancer Center, including surgeons, radiologists, oncologists and more. She is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine-ABMI and also provides hematology and medical oncology services at the Herbert-Herman Cancer Center.
The new practice is the first step in Sparrow’s commitment to providing cancer services in Charlotte. Sparrow Eaton intends to construct an infusion center in the coming months to further expand these vital services within the region.
