CHARLOTTE, MI – Certified Nurse Practitioner Stacey Hinton, FNP-C, has joined the Sparrow Medical Group Charlotte 123 practice, adding to the long-standing excellent patient care provided by Kimberly Friar, M.D., Scot Randall, D.O., and Summer Clay PA-C.
Hinton is a familiar face in Charlotte, having served as the primary provider at the former Cherry Health – Eaton Community Health Center for a number of years, and is eager to continue caring for the community. A Detroit-area native, Hinton now lives in Lansing with her husband and two sons, ages 10 and 15.
“SMG Charlotte is the perfect location for me to practice,” says Hinton. “I love the camaraderie of the caregivers here and the ‘small town’ feel of Charlotte.”
SMG Charlotte 123 is located at 123 Lansing St. in Charlotte, just west of I-69 between North Cochran Avenue and Lansing Street.

Hinton began her career as a nurse, working at Sparrow Health System in Lansing for 13 years. She also moonlights at Sparrow Urgent Care/FastCare locations and will soon lend her skills to Sparrow Eaton Urgent Care.
“I believe in a holistic approach, with a focus on self-care,” Hinton says. “I would often see people coming into the hospital when I worked as a nurse with preventable problems that diet and exercise could help with. When I became a nurse practitioner I committed to reinforcing prevention at every turn.”
Hinton says she has patients from birth to 93 and is eager to see more. She strives to be the most supportive provider possible for all patients, guiding them in a proactive lifestyle and approach to their health.
