It's now simply Physicians Health Plan

Physicians Health Plan of Mid-Michigan has formally changed its name to simply Physicians Health Plan.

The move will have little impact on current customers; new ID cards will be received when employer groups renew. Customer forms, letterhead, signs and the PHP website have all adopted the new name.

"Being PHP versus PHPMM is much simpler and reflects the fact that PHP serves customers and clients beyond the mid-Michigan region," said Sandra Winchell, PHP executive director of new programs and services.

Despite the name change, the current URL and PHP employee email addresses will remain the same until further notice.
