LANSING, MI – Sparrow has opened a new Endoscopy Center of Excellence that provides convenience and ease for Patients requiring endoscopy procedures.
The Center is located at the new Sparrow Health Center Lansing, 2909 E. Grand River Avenue in Lansing Township.
The Endoscopy Center of Excellence has been designed to enhance patient privacy and comfort, with easy parking and a comfortable waiting space for families.
Sparrow has partnered with the Michigan Gastroenterology Institute (MGI) of Lansing to provide leadership and a high standard for gastrointestinal care in mid-Michigan.
“I’m excited about the convenience of this new facility for our Patients and about the fact that Patients will have enhanced privacy and comfort,” said Albert Ross, M.D., President of Michigan Gastroenterology Institute. “It’s nice to be able to offer this under the Sparrow umbrella.”
The Endoscopy Center of Excellence keeps with Sparrow’s efforts to bring quality care close to home, while being mindful that the needs of Patients always come first.
The Endoscopy Center of Excellence is one of the final services moving into the 70,000-square-foot Sparrow Health Center Lansing. Sparrow Health Center Lansing, which opened in November 2016, expands access to primary care, provides senior health services, and offers streamlined and comprehensive care in one convenient location. Besides the Endoscopy Center, other onsite services include: Laboratory, Diagnostic Imaging including CT, Ultrasound, Mammography, MRI, and more.
The project is part of Sparrow’s investment in the region, including more than $285 million in construction and information technology projects over a five-year period.
