Patients who have surgeries or diagnostic tests scheduled on Wednesday and are unable to travel because of severe weather are asked to contact their physician offices.
Sparrow has contingency plans in place to staff the hospital during the poor weather. In addition, Sparrow continues to work in coordination with community agencies to support the needs of patients throughout the Mid-Michigan region.
Sparrow also is making arrangements to identify accommodations for patients and associates who are at the hospital and cannot travel home due to the weather conditions.
