Sparrow RNICU to hold reunion for former Patients

Published: Sept. 18, 2013

Children of all ages, their parents and their Sparrow Caregivers will come together to celebrate and reflect on obstacles they have overcome during the Regional Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Family Reunion.

The event will be held 1-4 p.m. Sunday at the Sparrow Michigan Athletic Club, 2900 Hannah Blvd. in East Lansing. It is a chance for families of former RNICU Patients and their Sparrow Caregivers to catch up and celebrate!

Each year Sparrow's RNICU cares for nearly 600 acutely ill infants from throughout mid-Michigan. Under the supervision of Michigan State University Neonatal faculty, specially trained nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals on the RNICU team provide each infant with care 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Sparrow's RNICU offers multiple treatment options and specialized equipment designed to support each infant's developmental needs.
