Sparrow Specialty Hospital selects new President/CEO

Veteran health care leader Lou Little has been named President and CEO of Sparrow Specialty Hospital.

Little has over 20 years of health care leadership experience, with an extensive background in post-acute services, including long-term acute care, rehabilitation, and home care. He has a proven ability to meet high standards in clinical quality, Patient satisfaction, financial operations, and Caregiver engagement.

Little joins Sparrow after serving as Chief Executive Officer of HealthSouth Mountain View Regional Rehabilitation Hospital in Morgantown, W. Va.

Sparrow Specialty Hospital is a 30-bed acute care hospital that specializes in Patients who require a 25-day or longer length of stay. It is designed for medically complex and critically ill Patients who need a longer hospitalization. The program is located in the Sparrow Tower at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing.

Little succeeds Kira Carter-Robertson, who was appointed Sparrow’s Vice President of Post-Acute Care in August.
