Sparrow’s Mobile Health Clinic Travels to Carson City Area

Published: May 20, 2021

CARSON CITY, MI – Sparrow’s Mobile Health Clinic recently made its first stop in the Carson City area, providing primary care services such as screenings, immunizations, and physicals to patients outside of Sparrow Medical Group Ithaca.

The mobile unit serves as a primary care practice on wheels, with a mission to improve access to care for underserved communities.

“One of our major goals in 2021 is to expand the reach of the Mobile Health Clinic across Sparrow’s entire service area,” said Kelsey Hoffman, Sparrow’s Population Health Manager of Program Development and Outreach. “The SMG Ithaca outing was our first in the Carson region and we are excited to continue this partnership and become a familiar presence in the community moving forward.”

The Mobile Health Clinic will return to SMG Ithaca from 1:30-4:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 29.
