Spartans visit Sparrow Children’s Center

Published: April 17, 2014

Members of the Spartan football team stopped by the Sparrow Children's Center yesterday to meet some of our young Patients and their families.

The players, including quarterback Connor Cook, signed autographs, played card games and posed for pictures with Patients in Sparrow's Playroom, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and the Regional Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

Visits like this are a great chance to bring a little extra Spartan spirit to our Patients and their families.

For more than a century, Sparrow has been a leader in caring for children. The first hospital in mid-Michigan to offer a dedicated children's unit, Sparrow today is home to the region's only full-service pediatric emergency department. As the region's Children's Miracle Network hospital, Sparrow is able to provide families the most advanced technology and treatment options in pediatric and neonatal care.
