Spirit Halloween hosts party for Sparrow's youngest patients

Published: Oct. 14, 2015

Sparrow's youngest Patients had some early Halloween fun during an annual party sponsored by Spirit Halloween.

The Sparrow Children’s Center was transformed while children donned costumes, painted pumpkins and did other arts and crafts.

The party is part of the company’s “Spirit of Children” program that brings fun for children in hospitals. Spirit Halloween has locations across the country – including three in the Lansing area – and has donated more than $113,000 to Sparrow since 2007.

For more than a century, Sparrow has been a leader in caring for children. The first hospital in mid-Michigan to offer a dedicated children’s unit, Sparrow today is home to the region’s only full-service pediatric emergency department. As the region’s Children’s Miracle Network Hospital, Sparrow is able to provide the most advanced technology and treatment options in pediatric and neonatal care.
