Sturgis named Sparrow Vice President, Chief Human Resources

Paul Sturgis, an experienced human resources executive with major organizations in Michigan, has been named Sparrow's new Vice President-Chief Human Resources Officer.

Sturgis will support Sparrow's Mission, Vision, Values, and the Sparrow Way by overseeing human resources and strategies to ensure a positive work environment, enhance Caregiver relations, optimize talent acquisition and retention, and support diversity and inclusion.

Sturgis previously served as the Detroit Medical Center's Vice President for Human Resources and Organizational Effectiveness.

Sturgis received his master's and bachelor's degrees from Eastern Michigan University. In addition to his extensive health care experience, he has been a Human Resources leader with organizations including Detroit Public Schools and DTE Energy.
