Things have changed a lot in the last 20 years but their work, and that of their colleagues since, has changed thousands of lives in our community.
William Dargan, 70, of Lansing, was Sparrow's first open-heart surgery Patient. He enjoyed another 16 healthy and happy years and witnessed the birth of 13 great-grandchildren before passing in 2010.
