On Sunday, November 20, Total Security defeated Hagan's Heroes to win the Michigan Athletic Club 2011 Fall Basketball League Championship. After tying Hagan's Heroes for first place in the regular season with identical 5 - 1 records, Total Security walked through the post-season tournament by defeating Fastlane 88 - 75 in the first round, Leaderless 71-70 in the second round, and then edged Hagan's Heroes 59 - 40 in the tournament championship game. Melvin White led the way for Total Security by pouring in 21 points, while Troy Thielen chipped in with 10 points. Alex Lapka led the way for Hagan's Heroes by scoring 11 points in a losing effort. The league will take a short break before gearing up for the winter league, which begins in early-January.
