U.S. Sen. Carl Levin visits new clinic to serve area homeless

U.S. Sen. Carl Levin visited the new clinic for area homeless today that he helped make possible. He toured the facility and got to hear about the remarkable successes the clinic is already having just a few weeks after opening.

Sparrow collaborated with Volunteers of America Michigan (VOAMI) to open the new medical clinic in Lansing, the first such project between a health system and VOAMI in Michigan.

The clinic is located at 430 North Larch St. in Lansing, and each year will serve an estimated 3,400 underserved Patients, many of whom are physically disabled and/or suffer from mental illness.
