Vaccination site closed on Wednesday, reopens Thursday

Sparrow indoor vaccination site to close for one-day only on Wednesday

Published: Tuesday, May 4, 2021

LANSING, MI – Sparrow’s indoor COVID vaccination site at Frandor in Lansing will be closed for one-day only on Wednesday, May 5, for administrative reasons as we catch up on our scheduling.

The site, 3131 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing, will reopen as usual at 10 a.m. on Thursday, with walk-ins welcome.  The indoor site has helped Sparrow distribute over 100,000 COVID vaccines to the community.  The nearby drive-thru location at the former Sears Automotive Center will remain open for COVID testing and blood draws.

Sparrow has been a national leader in COVID-19 patient care and testing, becoming one of the first hospitals in Michigan to offer tests for inpatients and using innovative processes to increase access and availability.

And remember: Wear a mask. Save a life.
