Meet the Provider

General surgery allows me to use my hands and skills to definitively fix patient's ailments. The procedures that I perform often completely remove the pain and illness that affect my patients.
Dr. Pordal completed his General Surgery Residency though Michigan State University College of Human Medicine at Ascension Providence Hospital where he became the Academic Chief Resident. Dr. Pordal feels his dual passion for teaching and medicine helps him educate his patients to best understand their medical situation. He believes compassionate, personalized care leads to the best outcomes. Dr. Pordal takes time to understand the questions and concerns of his patients, allowing him to tailor the situation to each individual. In his spare time, he enjoys being outdoors, hiking, trying new foods, and spending time with his wife and their cat, Tony Randal.
