I love helping my patient’s achieve improvement in their pain and ability to function by teaching them how to care for their bodies. I incorporate the treatment I perform in the office with education and exercises I teach my patients to do at home in order to achieve an optimal feeling of health and wellness.
Dr. Mueller-Smith practices Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine (ONMM), which directs special attention to the structural aspects of body motion and function, and their role in disease management. It involves enhanced knowledge of osteopathic practices and principles which treat medical disorders by restoring the body’s natural ability to move through a variety of gentle techniques applied to soft tissues, muscles, joints and their related structures. This is integrated into the care of patients of all ages, especially connected to primary care, neurology, rheumatology, gynecology, sports medicine, orthopedics, pediatrics, and rehabilitation.
