I am extremely proud to be working with an exceptional team of healthcare professionals who always deliver the best care for my patients. I listen to my patients’ concerns and want them to know that I care about what happens to them. I will explain the entire treatment process, beginning prior to surgery, continuing to the operating room and throughout the hospital stay, and ending as they recover.
Dr. Zakharov has trained at some of the nation's top institutions in New York and Kentucky performing a wide range of cardiothoracic surgeries. His clinical expertise and interests are on the full range of thoracic surgeries including most lung cancer procedures that are now done through small incisions, using minimally invasive and robotic approaches to make recovery faster and easier for his patients.
