Pre-Surgical Tours
Child Life Services offers weekly pre-surgical tours to help prepare children and teens for their upcoming outpatient procedure. Tours consist of visiting the Pediatric Outpatient Surgical Area, holding area, an operating room, and recovery room.
Children also have the opportunity to engage in medical play to become more familiar with the medical equipment that will be used the day of their procedure. The children and families who attend the tours typically experience less stress and anxiety the day of the procedure.

Tours are offered every Sunday at 2 p.m. Pre-registration is required.
