Despite cool temps and threatening skies, more than 300 people attended the 2014 Hike/Bike for Hospice raising nearly $85,000. The Hike/Bike is a touching tribute to those who have ended life's journey, like Annabelle Kong, a young Sparrow Hospice Patient who died earlier this year. Annabelle's family, and those of countless others, came out to show their love and support for continued compassionate care through Sparrow Hospice.

Memorial pickets lined the pathway as a lasting memorial to those we honor every year with love. All participants enjoyed great music, wonderful food, and family centered activities like Touch-a-Truck, Petting Zoo courtesy of Potter Park Zoo, and special appearances by Sparty, Big Lug and Zeke the Wonder dog. We'd like to extend a very special thank you for everyone who attended, volunteered their time or services, or generously sponsored the 2014 Hike/Bike for Hospice. This beloved event would not have been possible without your support.
