Marlene Turner, a medical assistant for Sparrow Ionia Hospital’s cardiology clinic, goes above and beyond to ensure each patient feels comfortable and is treated with respect when they come for their appointment.
“This is the perfect job for me,” said Marlene. “I absolutely adore what I do. I enjoy the patients, their history, what they’re doing with their lives.”
Marlene has been a leader in her department and promoted changes to ensure quality, compassionate care is seamless for patients and caregivers. These are just some of the reasons why Marlene is this month’s Caregiver Spotlight.
