Free pancakes at East Lansing IHOP to support children’s health

Patrons loaded up on pancakes and felt good about it. They were partaking in National Pancake Day on Tuesday, March 8, at the East Lansing IHOP.

The annual event raises money and awareness for the Sparrow Children’s Center, a Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. Guests were invited to make a donation for every short stack of pancakes served from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The East Lansing IHOP is located at 2771 E. Grand River Avenue.

Sparrow’s 2016 Miracle Child Abbey Larkin as well as Stephen Guertin, M.D., Medical Director of the Sparrow Children's Center, were on hand.

Since 2006, IHOP National Pancake Day has raised more than $10 million to provide life-saving treatment and medical equipment for young Patients, including the 54,000 treated each year at Sparrow. For more information, visit IHOPPancakeDay.com.
