How would you summarize your new position?
I am operational leader of all services provided here in the Lansing community.
What are your top three goals for the region or the hospital?
Improve the patient experience here at Sparrow. Improve financial performance through growth and efficiency of operations. To make Sparrow/University of Michigan Health the top employer in the health care industry.
What is one thing you've learned about Sparrow and/or University of Michigan Health West that surprised you?
There’s very close alignment in our vision and values.
What are you most looking forward to in your new role?
Expanding health care services offered here in Lansing. Getting to know the thousands of caregivers who come to work each day here at Sparrow. Being part of the growth of a premier health care system in Michigan.
Where is your favorite place in Michigan to vacation?
Northwest Michigan, Traverse City and surrounding towns.
