Jerome Street Guest House gets a face lift thanks to Pfizer

Published: Aug. 21, 2013

On July 31, a group of 12 volunteers from Pfizer descended on the Sparrow Jerome Street Guest House to repaint the lower level. Their hard work and paint, courtesy of Sherwin-Williams, made a remarkable improvement.

The Jerome House serves as temporary housing for the families of adult patients being treated at Sparrow Hospital for serious illnesses or injuries.

The new colors really brightened up the place and make it feel more like a "home away from home" for the special needs of families. There is no charge for staying in Sparrow's Jerome Street House, however donations are gladly accepted.

Next up? We hope to tackle the second floor soon to complete the transformation!
