The weekend of May 11 - 13 the Michigan Athletic Club held a Spring Junior Level 6 Tennis Tournament. The tournament had 68 entries from all over Michigan, and the MAC juniors came away with 5 division titles.
In the Girl's 14's, Olivia Hanover was victorious 6-4, 6-2. MAC juniors Kylie Wilkinson and Samantha Perkins reached the semi-finals.
In the boys divisions, many junior players had outstanding results. Ozan Colak defeated Druv Talluri 6-3, 7-5 in the Boy's 10's final. Tao Harmenil won the Boy's 10's consolation tournament. In the Boy's 12's final, Daniel Gorelik defeated his opponent 6-1, 6-0. Zal Chinoy reached the semi-finals. In the Boy's 14's, Dinakar Talluri won in a hotly contested match 2-6, 6-1, 10-5. Parth Redey and Adham Oweiss both reached the semi-finals before losing. Matthew Heeder won the Boy's 16's division over Jordan Jacobsen 6-1, 6-1. Oliver Weaver made it through to the semi-finals. Alex Reinbold won the Boy's 16's consolation tournament.
