Linda King, a Pre-Service Specialist for Radiology Scheduling, goes above and beyond to make patients feel at ease about scheduling their mammograms.
“I’ve always been a caring person, but now I understand when patients are upset and scared. I relate to that,” said Linda. “I can now put them at ease by sharing my story.”
Linda, who is also a Sparrow breast cancer patient, often shares her own survival story with patients to help them overcome their fear and anxiety. That’s one reason Linda is this month’s Caregiver Spotlight.
