Reetz new VP of Patient Care Services, Chief Nursing Officer

Linda Reetz, MBA, BSN, RN, has been named Vice President of Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Officer at Sparrow Ionia Hospital.

In her role, Reetz is responsible for Patient care programs and utilizing evidence-based nursing standards for delivery of the highest quality of Patient care. Her responsibilities include surgical services, inpatient care delivery, emergency services, outpatient services, pharmacy and emergency management.

Reetz has been assisting Sparrow Ionia on a part-time basis since the retirement of Ricki Burke, helping with the move to the new hospital as well as Caregiver orientation and training.

“This is such an exciting time for the Ionia community and Sparrow Ionia Hospital,” said Reetz. “To be a part of a new state-of-the-art hospital is a dream to many in the health care industry. I am honored to be a part of this journey with the core focus on Patient-centered quality care.”

Reetz has served as Administrative Director of Emergency Services for the main Sparrow Hospital and St. Lawrence campuses since coming to Sparrow in 2011. Reetz previously held the position of Director of Emergency Services for William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak.
